Shea Patterson Destroys Hugh Freeze & Ole Miss in Letter

Shea Patterson wrote a letter detailing his troubles with Ole Miss and former head coach Hugh Freeze in an attempt to help his eligibility status at Michigan. The former Rebels’ quarterback did not hold back.

Per CBS Sports:

Patterson’s case is based on what his camp says are conflicting statements by Ole Miss. The school has denied making misleading statements to recruits in January 2016 at the same time an NCAA Notice of Allegations detailed wrongdoing in the program.

Media reports and appeal documents contended former Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt was to blame for a large part of the wrongdoing at the time. Nutt responded by filing suit against his former employer.

If granted immediate eligibility, Patterson would start for Michigan barring injury.

Patterson committed to Ole Miss in February 2015. He was the No. 1 pro-style QB in the class.
