Jaguars Decline To Pick Up Fifth-Year Option On Dante Fowler Jr.

The Jaguars have declined to exercise the fifth-year option on DE Dante Fowler Jr. He was their first round draft pick in 2015. Fowler Jr. had 10 total sacks in 2017, including two sacks against Tom Brady and the Patriots in the AFC Championship game. The option would have cost the Jaguars $14.2 million.
