Pastor paints UGA as Good and Florida as Evil in Easter Sermon

On Easter Sunday, one pastor decided to highlight the differences between good and evil by using two SEC football teams. The pastor used Georgia to represent the image of good. As for evil or sin, the pastor went with the Florida Gators.

The last two times these two teams have met on the football field, it has been decidedly one-sided. The Bulldogs have won by a combined score of 78-24 in each of the last two games against Florida. It’s been 904 days since Florida has beaten Georgia.

UGA and Florida are scheduled once again to meet on Nov. 2. Georgia wrapped up its spring game on Saturday. The Bulldogs open their 2019 season on Aug. 31 when they take on Vanderbilt. Florida takes on Miami, in Orlando, on Aug. 24.
