Gators Coaches Will Earn Significantly More Money in 2019

According to a report from 247Sports.com, Gators Assistant Coaches will make $5.52 Million in 2019. That's an increase of roughly 14% over last year, with the bulk of that being attributed to a $400,000 increase in Defensive Coordinator Todd Grantham's salary after he received a contract extension this off-season. Grantham interviewed for the Cincinnati Bengals HC job but stayed with the Gators. TE Coach Larry Scott also received a raise of $250,000; as a buyout from his contract at Tennesee for the 2018 season.

In 2018 Ohio State had the highest payroll for assistant coaches at $7,383,938. The Gators 2019 Salary of $5.52 Million would have ranked them 12th in 2018, between Tennessee and Oregon.
