Kurt Cobain's daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, and Tony Hawk's son, Riley Hawk, were married this month, TMZ reports. According to the couple's official marriage certificate, they tied the knot at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles on October 7th after receiving their marriage license in San Diego County in September. The ceremony was performed by former R.E.M frontman Michael Stipe, who also happens to be Cobain's godfather.

The newlyweds allegedly started dating in 2021, five years after Frances filed for divorce from her first husband, musician Isiah Silva. TMZ mentioned that Cobain and Silva had been married for less than two years and went through a grueling custody battle over one of Kurt's guitars during their split. This is Riley's first marriage. While it is assumed that the duo have been dating since 2021, Frances did not publically confirm the news until February 2022.

Information regarding a possible honeymoon destination has not been brought to light as the two lovebirds enjoy their first month as husband and wife. Frances' mother, Courtney Love, and Riley's parents, Tony Hawk and Cindy Dunbar, have not commented on the marriage. It was not reported whether or not other celebrities were present at the ceremony or if it was a private family event.

Congratulations Frances Bean and Riley!
