Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will kick off the 2024 Great American Race in Florida.
The University of Miami alum, wrestler and actor has been named as the Grand Marshal for this year's Daytona 500. He will deliver, what's known as, the four most important words in motorsports, "Drivers, start your engines." The race at Daytona International Speedway will take place on February 19th.
Organizers also said this past weekend that the annual pre-race concert will be performed by Pitbull. More announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
